We offer help for a wide range of problems which people can experience in their lives. We also focus on the overall improvement of quality of life - assisting people seeking personal fulfilment. Auckland Psychotherapy Centre, established in 1994, is a practice of registered psychotherapists who all have considerable clinical experience with individuals and couples.

Level 1, 40-42 Mt Eden Road, Mt Eden, Auckland

Qualifications: Diploma in Psychotherapy, B.A.(Hons.), Adv.Diploma in Teaching, Diploma in Education of Handicapped Children, Certificate of Proficiency in Clinical Supervision. Professional Membership: MNZAP

Experience:I have worked in the counselling and psychotherapy areas since 1990. Previous experience includes working for Marriage Guidance/ Relationship Services and in a mental health unit. For the last few years I have been supervising the clinical work of psychotherapy students in the training programme at AUT. I have also provided supervision for ACC case managers and others in the health field.

Philosophy:I believe that the therapeutic relationship formed between the client and therapist offers the client an opportunity to understand how they relate to their own self and others. These mutually arrived at understandings allow the client to have some different choices in how they engage with the world they live in.
